Taking Chance, was a truly honorable film, I felt humble, grateful & proud. Kudos to Kevin Bacon.I had those same feelings after reading 'Flags of our Fathers, but Clint Eastwoods film did not inspire those feelings, rather it cheapened the image of those brave young men, who should have been honored as Chance was.

I stumbled on this movie Saturday night and I thought
oh no, another Hollywood anti-war movie ! Not the case
What a heart warming surprise. I have a new respect
for Kevin Bacon. I recommend this to anyone. No
violence, no bad language just a great show of honor
for the military. I will watch it again.

I just saw the movie "Taking Chance" It was a heartfelt movie from both sides of the spectrum. As a military wife and a friend of someone who was killed in Iraq, I'm glad to be able to see the dignity each Soldier, Marine, Air Force and Navy member comes back to at Dover. Thank you all for probably one of the most difficult jobs that you have to do to give honor to each of our men and woman who have died to keep us free. The movie is a must see, it was made with Dignity, Honor and Respect. I enjoyed the fact it was a "real" movie not alot of Hollywoods spin on it. Kevin Bacon was outstanding in this film.

My heart also goes out to the Family of Chance Phelps, your son will never be forgotten. He will always be in all of our hearts along with the rest of our men and woman who gave the ultimate sacrifice for this great country. God Bless you all

FOD,

Other than you, who said anything about Hollywood? Or bombing Iran? But hey, you seem to know what I think about everything, and even more amazingly, why I think it. Great for a trick on Dick Cavett, but not for here.

URR:

I see you're off the 'bomb Iran now' train and are joining CDR in his 'Hollywood hates the military' martyrdom.

Over the past decade, Hollywood has produced quite a few films or series extolling the military. "Band of Brothers," "BlackHawk Down,""Letters From Iwo Jima," and many, many others.

Whining does not become you.

FOD,

Seems I am detecting something else from you. And it isn't thoughtful and respectful commentary. Which is perhaps why those who serve would gladly trade a thousand of you for one LCpl Phelps every day of the week and twice on Sunday. URR
