When Frank Buckles was a sprighlty 106 years old we had the opportunity to interview him. Today he is 109 years and the last known U.S. Veteran of WWI.

    I had the great pleasure to see Mr. Buckles march in a Fourth of July celebration in Frostburg Md about 3 years ago. He was riding in a vehicle for everyone to see. Amazing day, a solid mile of veterans of all wars marching down Main St. in a postcard small American town.
