It was a miserable day today in New Jersey – gray & rainy. When I was a kid, you didn’t fly the flag on a day like today; but most of the flagpoles had flags flying (hanging limp actually) at full staff. The firemen and one high school had it right – all of the other schools I saw didn’t.
If I had wandered into one of the schools to mention the fact that it is a National day of mourning to the principal, I bet I would have been arrested for trespass.
Fortunately I am not that easily offended by the clueless.
