You were my first boss, and the finest Marine I have ever worked for or known. As a brown bar, I learned quickly that you only told something once and there were no excuses. You did what needed to be done. You were a prince of man, a Marine’s Marine, and a leader who expected nothing less than excellence. You training has done me well.

I must admit I had tears in my eyes when I heard of your passing.
