By popular vote, Naval Institute blog wins best Navy Blog from the military blogging conference sponsored by and USAA.

This is entirely due to the guest bloggers who take time (unpaid) to share their voice on this blog and to those who participate in the comments to continue the dialogue…and to all of those who dare to read, think, speak, write, and blog…

BRAVO ZULU! Congratulations to the USNI, the blog’s talented Admin, the guest bloggers, and the commenting contributors.

The biggest winners are the Navy, Marine Corps, and Coast Guard for the ideas that are offered and debated here.

    This is much deservered recogntion.

Congratulations to those who fill these etheral pages full of thought provoking ideas and poignant moments in time. Congratulations most of all to She Who Must Be Obeyed, the USNI blog admin who had performed a stellar job of playing ringmaster and lion tamer. My lady, my deepest appreciation for a job well done!

BZ! Having been tolerated as an occasional commenter here by SWMBO since the inception, it is a pleasure to watch this space grow and develop.

It is my sincerest hope that the current contretemps vis a vis USNI’s course and heading will not dissuade the guest bloggers from continuing to add to the strength of this venue.

    Congrats to you, SWMBO!

Just goes to show your draconian discipline of the guest bloggers paid off!

Great job to USNI, the professional staff, SWMBO, the primary contributors, and the folks that flesh out the ideas in the comments who helped make this happen. In other words, BZ to those who would read, speak, think, write, and blog.

  • If I may correct one of the statements in this post…..this blog’s success is definitely due in large part to those bloggers who contribute and those who add to the discourse by commenting. However, it is also due in no small part to the great job the Admin does here. A compilation blog only works if it has a good “blog wrangler”.

Huzzah to the bloggers, the commenters…..and the ADMIN!

We readers are very lucky indeed
